POLICE SEEKING HELP IN TELEVISION THEFTS

Nacogdoches Police Detectives need the public’s help in solving a rash of television thefts from RV dealerships on the West Loop. Thieves forcibly entered recreational travel trailers and removed the television sets in three episodes. Over the weekend of 2-16 thru 2-18, Genuine RV in the 2800 Block of the NW Loop had trailers entered and 12 televisions stolen. Genuine RV was again victimized over the night of 2-20 and 2-21, where 16 additional TVs were taken. A stereo system was also taken.
On 2-26, RV Station, located in the 1100 block of NW Loop 224 had 13 recreational trailers entered and 10 televisions stolen, along with two DVD players.
The televisions are large flat screens and include the brand names of Samsung, Sansui, Hisense, Legend, Sony, Konka, Jensen, Catino and Westinghouse.
