Fresh Persimmon’s available this weekend at the Farmer’s Market

LOCAL PRODUCE: green beans, frozen shelled beans (butter, baby Lima & pinto), cantaloupes, cucumbers, eggplants, greens (arugula, endive, Toscano kale, mustard & turnip), herbs (3 types of basil, 3 type of mint, rosemary & thyme), okra, onions, peanuts, frozen shelled peas (blackeyed, brown Crowder, Lady cream, purple hull & zipper cream), peppers (Anaheim, banana, green Bell, cayenne, red hot cherry, cow horn, habanera, jalapeno & serrano), persimmons, new potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, squash (butternut, Cushaw, patti pan, pinata, spaghetti, summer, yellow & zucchini), tomatoes (green & red) and turnips.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning and is open on Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 6 p.m. during the Fall season. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
Please note that the Farmer’s Market is a “Smoke Free” facility for the health of our customers and vendors.
