Nacogdoches residents Miriam Galan (left) and Kail Consford (right) recently sang in the Elementary Honor Choir at the Texas Choral Directors Association Convention in San Antonio. The 160 choir members were selected from over 700 fourth, fifth and sixth graders who auditioned across the state. Miriam, daughter of Rachel and Victor Galan, is a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Music Preparatory Division’s Children’s Chorus. Kail, the daughter of Kami Adkins and Scott Consford, is a member of the McMichael Middle School Choir.
