Naoma was a wonderful woman, a beautiful mother and an exciting teacher. She had a smile that would light up any room. She loved to paint draw and read. Her artistic passion showed up in all that she did, and added to the drama of her story telling. No joy was more complete to her than having all of her family together. Her family and friends will remember her “selfless” nature and her ability to be funny and silly. She was a graduate of Sam Houston State University and spent most of her career teaching elementary students in the New Caney area.

Visitation will be from 1 pm- 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

With heartfelt memories, I cherish my friendship with Carolyn during our
younger years. Our lives were distanced by life’s new ventures….
but throughout the years, she has remained special in my heart.
May the love and memories she created with each of you, comfort and
embrace you when you most long for her Smile and voice. Lord bless.
