Dr. Hollie Smith of Nacogdoches, assistant dean of student affairs at Stephen F. Austin State University, was recognized as the 2012 Woman of the Year by the University Professional Women’s organization. Smith was nominated for the award based on her academic and professional credentials, years of service to SFA, and professional and community service.
