Obituary: David Allan Stewart

     Mr. David Allan Stewart, 58, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 19, 1953 to parent’s Burton Raymond Stewart and Joan Asche Stewart. Family and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors at 5400 North Street Nacogdoches, Texas from 6-8pm. A private inurnment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana at a later date.

     David graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in Kansas City, MO. He attended college at SFA in Nacogdoches. He worked as a convenience store manager for 29 + years in Nacogdoches before moving to Lawrenceville, GA. He enjoyed bowling, boating, music, horse racing and sports.

     Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Burton R. Stewart of Dallas, TX and mother, Joan Stahl of Marshall, TX.

     David’s survivors include brother, Jeffery B. Stewart of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Lisa Everitt and husband David of Flint, TX; nieces, Amanda L. Stewart of Lawrenceville, GA., Brett A. Stewart of Flowery Branch, GA; nephew, Derrick Filyaw of Flowery Branch, GA.; great nephew, Spencer M. Filyaw of Flowery Branch, GA. ; step- father, George S. Stahl of Marshall, TX.
