Woman arrested for burglary of a habitation

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 has arrested a female in connection with a burglary of a habitation that occurred last weekend in Woden, Texas. Constable Bridges stated that his office was called to a residence where deputy constables found the front door of the residence was kicked open. Money, jewelry and medication were stolen from the residence.

     Constable Bridges stated that a suspect in the case was quickly identified just a few hours later. Bridges stated that after the suspect was identified she was called into the Constable Office for questioning about the crime. During the interview the female gave a confession about committing the burglary. The Constable Office has also been able to recover some of the stolen property that was taken. Constable Bridges stated that the Constable Office has also obtained other evidence linking the female to the burglary before she was called in for an interview.

     Kathryn Brown Garcia 51 years of a age from Woden, Texas was arrested Monday evening and placed into the Nacogdoches County Jail for burglary of a habitation a 2nd degree felony.
