Services for Zelwanda Sargent Cates, 61, of Etoile will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, Nacogdoches, with John Grimm officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile.
Ms. Cates was born June 20, 1950, in Nacogdoches as a daughter of the late John Herman Sargent and Zelma (Kimmey) Sargent. She passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Lufkin.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thurdsday, March 8, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
