Mrs. Rhodes, I know you don’t know me but wanted to tell you about visiting with Dan on Monday at the Dairy Queen. He told me about the Church announcing the trip to the Holy Land. He was so excited about that. I believe him to be one of the best Christians I have ever met and my husband and I will miss him. My prayers are for you and your familly. God bless you Dan.

My family and I were deeply saddened to hear the news of such tragic accident. Brother Rhodes, as I have always known him, was a close friend of my family. I cherish memories of having dinner with his family at our house after church when I was growing up. I also remember visiting his sawmill with my dad and touring their house before they finished building it when I was younger. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Mrs. Jan, Josh, & April I am truly sorry for your loss.
