October 21: SFA Crime Log

Thursday October 20, 2011 – Friday October 21, 2011

    On 10-21-2011 an Officer was dispatched to lot 46 in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival the Officers made contact with the subject and discovered the subject to be intoxicated and was a danger to himself and others. While officers were effecting the arrest, the subject resisted the officers. The subject was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest or transport. The subject was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without further incident. There is one suspect.

    On 10-20-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the lobby of UPD in reference to Harassment. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 10-19-2011 and 10-20-2011 he received numerous unwanted emails and text messages from a known person. There is one suspect.

Wednesday October 19, 2011 – Thursday October 20, 2011

    On 10-19-2011 an Officer was contacted by a complainant at the Lower Art Building in reference to Theft. The complainant stated on 10-19-2011 his unattended text book was stolen at the Lower Art Building. There are no suspects.

    On 10-19-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the US Post Office loading dock at the Baker Patillo Student Center in reference to a Disturbance.

    Upon arrival the Officer made contact with two subjects who advised they had been involved in a verbal altercation over an incident that occurred on a roadway. There are two suspects.
