Aggravated Robbery – Logan Circle

The Nacogdoches Police Department is currently investigating an aggravated robbery which was reported at a residence in the 2700 block of Logan Circle.

The robbery was reported at 11:16 a.m. Investigation has revealed that two individuals, a male and a female, were in a residence in the 2700 block of Logan Circle when a knock came at the door. The female victim answered the door, and was confronted by two male suspects, one having a handgun. The suspects forced their way into the residence, one restraining the female, and the other confronting the male victim. During this confrontation, the handgun in the possession of one of the suspects was discharged. The male victim received a non-life threatening laceration to the head. It is not clear if the laceration was caused by the discharge of the weapon or occurred during a struggle.

The suspects then stole the keys to the victim’s vehicle, and fled the scene in the vehicle. The stolen vehicle was located by Nacogdoches Police a short time later, abandoned on Railroad Street.

Officers believe that the suspects then obtained a ride from a citizen from the area of Eastwood Terrace to the 2800 block of Pearl Street.

The suspects are described as African American males, one taller than the other, last seen wearing black shirts and dark pants.

At the time of this release, officers are still developing and investigating leads in this case. Any person with information on this robbery should call Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers at 560-INFO or on our website at www.ncstips.com.
