NCSO: Wednesday Fire Update

     Fire Update: The fire has expanded north & is currently burning in Cherokee County on State Hwy 204. The fire appears to be an outbreak from the Angelina River Bottom Fire and has unexpectedly moved north due to strong winds. 200 acreas have been burned. The fire has jumped containment barriers in both Douglass and north of Lilbert. Residents in the Dexter Community have been evacuated. State Hwy 204 and FM 1648 remain open at this time, but may be closed. CR 3 and State Hwy 21 remain closed at this time.

    are there any map diagrams to show high ways, county roads, and farm to market roads that are closed and have no outlets?

      Best thing I can suggest is just keep watching for updates. I’ve been sharing on the EverythingNac Facebook page every update we get, so I hope we’ll have something there. If you need to know about a certain road, you might ask there and see if the readers can answer it.
