Obituary: WESLEY BLAKE JONES

     Wesley Blake Jones passed away August 6, 2011, in Cartagena, Columbia. He was 34 years old.

WESLEY BLAKE JONES

     Blake was a 1994 graduate of Nacogdoches High School. He attended Texas A & M before going into the offshore oil industry. He worked as an Assistant Driller, traveling throughout the world.
Blake loved sporting events, a passion he enjoyed sharing with his beloved brother, Jeffrey. He delighted in showering his mother and brother with gifts sent from around the world. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

     Blake is preceded in death by his father, Charles Wesley Jones. He leaves behind his mother, Patricia Jones; one brother, Jeffrey Wade Jones; and sister-in-law, Kellie Buth Jones.

     Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2011, in Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson, with Dr. Josh Walters officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Timpson.

    RIP El Blako! Worked, and had lots of fun, with Blake in the oilfields offshore Vietnam…he was a great guy!! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

    Blake you will be missed. You were one of the first people I met in 6th grade in good ole Block 1, and then we were always together at assemblies because our last names were the same. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
