Mr. James Robert Nutt, age 79, of College Station, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, in College Station, Texas.

Mr. Nutt was born July 7, 1932, in Tenaha, Texas, to Robert Trilby “R.T.” Nutt and Audrey Jane (Bridwell) Nutt. He retired from Phillips Petroleum with several years service as a chemist.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Nutt of College Station.
Services are set for 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North St. in Nacogdoches, Texas, with Rev. John Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North St. in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North St. in Nacogdoches, Texas.
