Two Nacogdoches residents die in Monday morning wreck

     Two Nacogdoches residents were killed Monday morning after their vehicle left the road and struck a mobile home.

     The driver, Zachtavius Demario Garrett, 30, and passenger, Jarome Ramon Murchison, 23, both of Nacogdoches, were five miles east of Nacogdoches traveling eastbound on CR 302 when their 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer left the road and struck a mobile home at 6:53 a.m.

     The occupants of the home were not injured.

     Garrett and Murchison were both pronounced dead on scene at 7:20 a.m. and both taken to Sid Robert’s Funeral Home.

     The report said both occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
