Constable Office Pct 4: Two arrested and several drugs found

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office conducted a traffic stop early Saturday morning that has lead to the arrest of two subjects and the seizure of various narcotics.

     Constable Bridges stated that Deputy Allen was on patrol on Highway 59s in precinct 4 when he conducted a traffic stop on a black kia passenger car for a seatbelt violation.

     The vehicle was occupied by two males that were traveling to Benton, La. When conducting the traffic stop Deputy Allen noticed that both subjects appeared to be very nervous and gave conflicting statements about there trip. Deputy Allen also could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Deputy Allen and his drug dog, K-9 Miko conducted a search of the motor vehicle.

     The Search lead to the discovery of over five lbs of marijuana, two ounces of cocaine, 163 grams of hydrocodone , and 5 grams of ecstasy pills that was concealed inside of the vehicle.

Trevoures Mcgee

     Travis Anderson, 32 years of age and Trevoures Mcgee, 30 years of age both from Benton, La were arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Both subjects were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
