To paraphrase G W Bush: “We did not forget. We did not falter. AND, WE DID NOT FAIL!” EOR

Only problem was he said that years before he was finished, got distracted and went and did something else (Iraq war); which is the definition of faltering.

It’s been a loooong time coming and I am proud of our men and women in uniform for getting the job done! And good on EVERYBODY who knew for keeping quiet about it! We’ve cut the head off the beast, now let’s finish it off!

so when do the troops gets to come home?

    • Anonymous says:

That’s a good question. I expect this to really be the end of a lot of this.

me too… I mean what are we REALLY “fighting” for now

Well, if it was to bring justice to the people who caused the death of so many on 9/11, then we’re done.

Iraq was such a stupid waste of time. Never have I seen a war strategy that in the middle of a war was it right to just suddenly start a war that could have waited.

We’re there now, and I’ve got to think we have done whatever we were going to get done there.

Let’s call it done and bring our guys home.

That is very well put!!! :)

You’re absolutely right! We need to bring ’em home and STOP ALL FOREIGN AID! Clearly our “ally” Pakistan KNEW Osama was there. That is just one exhibit of how these countries we try to help are working against us. Close the borders, take care of our own, and lets fix our country, already!

If you are going to give credit give it to the intelligence community, the military members who conducted the mission, and all that kept their mouth closed about the operation. This was not possible without the actions of all, including both presidents, even though to me they both played a minute role in the success. The unfortunate thing with this victory is that when you kill one, you create two more.

But what else can you do? While there needs to be a way to somehow end the cycle, we’re forced to have to deal with what has already been created.

Took long enough. Bush deserves a little credit, but I think it’s funny that I’m seeing Obama get zero credit by the people I know who are repubs

  7. Ed says:

I do not rejoice in execution. I do believe in justice but by whose standard. If by my Lords then I am as guilty as he if I desire his death.
Yes violence does beget violence, let us not forget that he who lives by the sword will die by the sword. Let us be more like Him and less like us. Amen
If it is over it is over let us not bathe in any deception of glory from this. Let it die.

    I’m just glad he’s dead.
