BREAKING: BURGLARY/SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATED

     The Nacogdoches Police Department is currently investigating a reported burglary and sexual assault that occurred Saturday night.

     A 31 year old female reported that at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening she was followed by a dark Hyundai or Pontiac Grand Am after leaving a business in the 1000 block of North University Drive. The vehicle was occupied by two Hispanic males. After driving for several minutes, the victim stated that the vehicle was no longer following her.

     The victim then went to a residence in the 1600 block of Cardinal. Approximately 30 minutes later, the victim went back to her vehicle and the suspects that had been following her drove up. The two suspects exited the vehicle and forced their way into the residence. One of the suspects restrained the victim while the other sexually assaulted her. The suspects then fled the area.

     Suspect #1 is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6” tall, stocky build, last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark grey shirt. Suspect # 2 is described as Hispanic male, 6’3” tall, slender build, last seen wearing dark clothing. Both suspects were wearing panty hose over their heads.
