Farmer’s Market Spring Fling is set for Saturday, April 2nd

     Join us next Saturday, April 2nd, at the Nacogdoches Farmer’s Market to help celebrate spring in Texas’ Oldest Town. There is sure to be something to please every one of all ages, so bring the whole family down and enjoy the day with us!

     The Spring Fling will get underway at 8 a.m. with live entertainment, children’s activities and much much more! Children’s Activities include: Children’s Yoga Class at 11 a.m. Egg Decorating, Recycling Demonstrations, Petting Zoo, Adoptathon and much more!

Morning Glory Yoga Studios Amy Sanford will host a Childrens Yoga class at 11 a.m.

     A full morning of live entertainment is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. featuring Chris Thompson, Michael Collins, John Medford, Old Time Gospel Project and the Margaret Wright Family.

     We will have over 25 vendors set up with a variety of items such as: 100 % Blue Belgian Beef, Plants and Flowers galore, Flora Garden Club Azalea Trail Cart Raffle, one of a kind jewerly, beautiful Cut Glass, hand carved benches, scrumptious pies, fresh breads, and that is just the tip of the iceburg! We promise you won’t be disappointed.

Many thanks also goes to CASA, Healthy Nacogdoches Coalition, Head Starte, La Leche League, Morning Glory Yoga Studio, Nacogdoches Animal Service, Sierra Club, Nacogdoches Recycles, East Texas Horse Rescue, Austin Heights Baptist Church, and Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful.

     Clear Springs and Auntie Pasta’s are also having their annual Crawfish Boil that afternoon just across the street at Banita Creek Hall to raise funds for Relay for Life. So come enjoy the Spring Fling and then head on over to show your support and enjoy some mudbugs.

     The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.
