January 28: NPD Crime Report

     CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; 300 BLOCK OF HUGHES STREET. A FENDER WAS KICKED AND DAMAGED ON A PARKED VEHICLE.

     THEFT; 700 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. A KNOWN SUSPECT TOOK A TROMBONE FROM A STORE AND PLACE IT IN A VEHICLE. STORE EMPLOYEES RETRIEVED THE TROMBONE AND THE SUSPECT LEFT.

     AGGRAVATED ROBBERY; 200 BLOCK OF WEST SEALE. TWO PEOPLE WERE SITTING ON A PARK BENCH AND WERE APPROACHED BY A WHITE MALE AND A BLACK MALE. ONE OF THE SUSPECTS PRODUCED A HANDGUN AND ROBBED THE TWO VICTIMS OF THEIR PERSONAL PROPERTY. INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY.

     DWI; 2200 BLOCK OF TANGLEWOOD. A VEHICLE TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED CAME UPON AN ACCIDENT IN THE ROADWAY AND SWERVED INTO A PINE TREE. THE DRIVER WAS NOT INJURED AND SUSPECTED OF BEING INTOXICATED. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED.

     ASSAULT; 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. COMPLAINANT REPORTED BEING PUSHED IN THE CHEST BY A KNOWN SUSPECT DURING A DISTURBANCE.

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE-3 COUNTS; 700-800 BLOCK OF BARKER STREET. THREE VEHICLES WERE ENTERED AND CHANGE TAKEN FROM THE ASHTRAYS.

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 400 BLOCK OF ESTHER BLVD. AN UNSECURED VEHICLE WAS ENTERED AND A CAMERA BAG CONTAINING LENSES AND A FUJI CAMERA WAS TAKEN.
