January 6 Crime Log: In the end, a taxi would have been cheaper

     ROBBERY; 3200 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. COMPLAINANT WAS APPROACHED IN A PARKING LOT BY A KNOWN SUSPECT WHO IMPLIED THAT HE HAD A WEAPON. THE SUSPECT THEN HAD THE COMPLAINANT DRIVE HIM AROUND NACOGDOCHES AND TOOK A SMALL AMOUNT OF CASH FROM HIM. OFFICERS OBTAINED A WARRANT AND ARRESTED SEBASTAIN REED FOR THE OFFENSE.

     HARASSMENT; 1000 BLOCK OF SHEPHERD DRIVE. COMPLAINANT REPORTED THAT A KNOWN SUSPECT CONTINUES TO CALL ON THE PHONE AFTER BEING WARNED TO STOP.

     ASSAULT; 1500 BLOCK OF DOLPH STREET. TWO KNOWN JUVENILE FEMALES ASSAULTED ANOTHER JUVENILE FEMALE, CAUSING NON LIFE THREATENING INJURY. WARRANTS REQUESTED.

     FAIL TO IDENTIFY; 900 BLOCK OF PARK. THE SUSPECT WAS CONTACTED AS THE DRIVER ON A TRAFFIC STOP. THE SUSPECT GAVE A FALSE NAME. ONCE HE WAS IDENTIFIED, AN OUTSTANDING CITY WARRANT WAS LOCATED. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED.

     ASSAULT; 2900 BLOCK OF SE STALLINGS. A KNOWN SUSPECT STRUCK THE VICTIM WITH A FIST. A WARRANT HAS BEEN REQUESTED.

     FORGERY; 2800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A $100.00 COUNTERFEIT BILL WAS PASSED AT A LOCAL STORE.

     BURGLARY OF A HABITATION; 1500 BLOCK OF PEARL. A HP TOUCH SCREEN COMPUTER AND A WII GAME SYSTEM WERE STOLEN AFTER ENTRY WAS FORCED TO AN APARTMENT.

     ASSAULT; 4100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. COMPLAINANT REPORTED BEING PUSHED DOWN BY A KNOWN SUSPECT DURING A DISTURBANCE. COMPLAINANT DID NOT WISH TO FILE CHARGES.
