September 26: SFA Crime Log

Friday September 23, 2011 – Monday September 26, 2011

    On 9-25-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of Raguet St. in reference to Theft.Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advisedon 9-25-2011 his unsecured bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at the HPE Complex. There are no suspects.

    On 9-25-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Hall 16 in reference to a Hit and Run. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised between 9-23-2011 and 9-24-2011 her unattended vehicle was damaged in the Wilson Parking Garage. There is one suspect.

    On 9-24-2011 an Officer observed that an unknown person(s) wrote on the on Basketball Goal on the North side of Human Science with shoe polish. There are no suspects.

    On 9-24-2011 an Officer was dispatched to the Education Building in reference to Theft. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on 9-24-2011 his unsecure skateboard was stolen from the sidewalk near the Education Building. There are no suspects.

    On 9-24-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Landing in reference to Harassment.Upon arrival the Officer attempted to make contact with the suspect who was still on scene, but the suspect ran from Officers on foot. The subject was apprehended and arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention and was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. There is one suspect.

    On 9-23-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Lumberjack Village in reference to a subject refusing to leave. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the complainant, who advised on9-23-2011 she had a verbal argument with a known subject. The subject was issued a criminal trespass warning from SFA’s campus and was advised to leave the campus. There is one suspect.

Thursday September 22, 2011 – Friday September 23, 2011

    On 9-22-2011 an Officer was conducting a traffic stop on East College St. when a bystander began interfering with the Officer’s duties and continued interfering after repeated instruction to not interfere. The subject was arrested for Interferences with Public Duties, Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest or Detention. The subject was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. There is one suspect.

    On 9-22-2011 an Officer was dispatched to Steen Library in reference to a Suspicious Person.Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the subject and discovered that the subject had been previously issued a criminal trespass warning for SFA’s campus. The subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail without incident. There is one suspect.
