Brenda K. Hutchison
Funeral service for Mrs. Brenda Kay Buster Hutchison, 62, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 2:00 pm at Laird Funeral Home with Rev. Chet Strain officiating. Burial will follow at Union Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Hutchison was born on April 27, 1949, in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Jesse and Addie Hester Lipford.
She passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011, in Nacogdoches. Brenda lived in Houston, Texas until she and her family moved to Nacogdoches in 1984. She graduated from High School in Houston and attended business school there as well. She worked for Exxon in accounts payable, for a law firm and Red T. Coil in Nacogdoches but retired from International Paper Co. in Nacogdoches.
Brenda married Charles Ray Hutchison on January 5, 1991, in Nacogdoches and he survives her. Brenda loved to do crafts, scrap booking, gardening and playing Bunco. She enjoyed all the many birthday parties for her family, family reunions, Christmas or any celebration that came her way. She loved to share the close family time shared with her family. She was an active member of Jubilee Christian Center. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Her kindness and willingness to help those in need will be missed by so many.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Chares Ray Hutchison of Nacogdoches; daughter, Angela Peveto and husband, James of Nacogdoches; daughter, Samantha Ainsworth and husband, Brian of Nacogdoches; brother-in-law, Roger Dale Hutchison; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Steve Traylor; niece, Kelsey Traylor; nephew, Kenneth Traylor; eight grandchildren, Matthew Peveto, Jasper Peveto Briana Buster, Tiffany Peveto, Logan Peveto, Kristen Ainsworth, James Ainsworth, II, and Aaron Ainsworth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Jessie Lipford; and one sister, Lisa Ann Lipford. Pallbearers will be Matthew Peveto, Jasper Peveto, Larry Campenello, Jr., James Triana, Fletcher Travis and Brian Ainsworth.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, from 5-7 pm at Laird Funeral Home.
Memorial donation may be made in Brenda’s honor to the Women’s Shelter of East Texas, 4610 North St. Nacogdoches, Texas, 75965.
