NACOGDOCHES POLICE ON SCENE OF A FATALITY TRAFFIC CRASH

Nacogdoches, Tx (July 27, 2024): Around 9:49 p.m. this evening officers responded to a major accident in the 400 block of S.W. Stallings Dr. When officers arrived on scene they located a single passenger vehicle that had left the roadway and struck road equipment. The single adult occupant of the vehicle was transported by Ems to the hospital but was later determined to be deceased. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Based on preliminary information, at this time, it is believed the vehicle was traveling northbound when it left the roadway. Officers are still on scene and continuing their investigation. Please avoid the area if possible. As further information becomes available it will be released.
