Nac City: Texas Country Reporter’s C&R Kutt Bottle will be at the market this weekend

     C & R Kutt Bottle – Creative Glass Recycling, featured on Texas Country Reporter will be at the market this Saturday. They will be selling drinking glasses, goblet candles (made with soy), tapered candle-holders, cup candleholders, flower vases, self-watering planters, wind chimes and hurricane lamps. Check out their tumbled glass beads. All their proceeds go to ‘Habitat for Humanity.’

     Other things to look for this Saturday: baked goods (breads, cakes, cookies & pies), candles, canned goods (wild-picked jams & jellies including may haw, blackberry, blueberry, muscatine and wild plum as well as jams, marmalades, preserves, chow-chow, pickled vegetables, salsas and relishes), ceramics, artisan Texas cheeses, chicken & dumplings, free-range eggs, locally raised organic tilapia fish and tilapia fillets, flowers, herbs (basil, cilantro, coriander, dill, oregano, parsley, rosemary & thyme), local raw honey, jewelry, plants (starter plants, trees & whips), tamales and vinegars. LOCAL PRODUCE: frozen beans (butter, green, baby Lima & pinto), frozen blueberries, cabbage, frozen field corn, cucumbers, kohlrabi, onions, frozen peas (black eye, zipper cream, brown Crowder & purple hull), banana peppers, sweet potatoes, new potatoes, tomatoes (green, Romas, red Celebrity slicers & red Jet Star slicers) and turnips.

     The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. The market is open on Saturday mornings. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot.

     Please note that the Farmer’s Market is a “Smoke Free” facility for the health of our customers and vendors.
