NACOGDOCHES POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING SHOOTING

(AUGUST 20, 2023): Around 12:15 a.m. this morning officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department responded to a reports of gunshots in the 1500 block of North St. Officers arrived to the scene locating a very large group of people in the parking lot. An adult male gunshot victim was located and transported by EMS to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip. The victims condition is stable. The criminal investigation division responded to the scene. Multiple law enforcement agencies such as NSO, NFD, and UPD assisted.
