(May 12, 2023): Around 1:23 p.m. in the afternoon officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department responded to an armed robbery that occurred at a store in the 2500 block of South st. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male that was armed with a knife. The suspect entered the business and demanded the money. The store employee cooperated and the suspect then fled on foot from the store with an undisclosed amount of money. No arrests have been made at this time. As further information becomes available it will be released.
