NACOGDOCHES POLICE INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE

(November 19, 2022): Around 3:45 a.m. Nacogdoches police responded to an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Martinsville St. in reference to a 911 call about a female that had been shot. Officers arrived to the scene and located an adult female victim that had been shot. The victim was found to be deceased. A suspect is currently in custody. The criminal investigation division is currently on scene. This is an active investigation and as further information becomes available it will be released.
