NACOGDOCHES POLICE DEPARTMENT ON SCENE OF SHOOTING

The Nacogdoches Police Department is currently on scene of a shooting in the 1600 block of Martinsville St. Around 11:22 p.m. on January 21, 2022 we responded to reports of a victim laying in the parking lot. Our officers arrived to the scene and found an adult female victim laying in the parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound to the head area. EMS arrived and transported the victim to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. The victim’s condition is believed to be critical. The Criminal Investigation Division is on scene. As further information becomes available it will be released.
