The City of Nacogdoches surface water plant has been damaged due to electrical blackouts. The ground water system will be diverted to service the entire system. Residents may experience periods of reduced water pressure and interruptions. Water is still safe to drink and does not need to be boiled. Please take all possible measures to conserve water during this emergency.
We will continue to update you as the situation progresses. Current estimates show the plant will not be fully back in service until Friday. All water rationing measures should continue until at least Friday.
