Obituary: Doris Maxine Wisener Lee

1922 – 2011

     Services have been re-scheduled for Ms. Doris Maxine (Wisener) Lee, age 88, of Richardson, Texas.

     Funeral services are now set for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel at 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas, with Bro. R.W. “Bobby” King officiating. Interment will be at the King Family Cemetery in Douglass, Texas.

     Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Tuesday and continue until service time.

     Maxine passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, in Richardson, Texas.

     She was born April 8, 1922, in Etoile, Texas, to Fred Ramie Wisener and Nena Verline (King) Wisener. After graduation from high school, Maxine attended business school and worked several years for Allis-Chalmers Equipment Company. She then moved on to a business career as owner of Adler Hotel and Northway Florist in the Dallas area.

     Survivors: a sister, Alice Joy (Wisener) Clinch of Plano, Texas; brothers, Fred Darrell Wisener of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, and Young King Wisener of Carrollton, Texas; and host of nieces and nephews.

     Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Ted Ray Wisener, Bonnie Oliver Wisener, and Gerald Austin Wisener.
