Jessie W. Goff
Mrs. Jessie W. Goff, 79, of Chireno passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Mrs. Goff was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Nacogdoches County to John David and Lunnie Mae (Wilbur) Sowell. She was a longtime area resident and an Avon sales representative.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ray Ramey and Carlyle Goff; and sisters, Edna Johnson, Lyda Mae Wallace, and Betty Lummus.
Survivors: a daughter, Ann Marie Scott of Diboll; grandchildren, Carl Eugene Partin and Jessica Cox Sanders, both of Katy, Jimmy Lynn Partin Jr. of Illinois, and Symantha Marie Gipson of Nacogdoches; step-children, Gary Goff, Gail Goff, Louis Goff, Larry Goff, Mark Goff, all of the Angleton area; brothers, Eugene Sowell of Chireno, James Sowell of Nacogdoches, Junior Sowell of Woden; sister, Bonnie Jacobs of Woden; and a host of step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services are set for 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Little’s Chapel Cemetery near Chireno with Bro. Jerry Young officiating.
