January 22 NPD Crime Log: You guys were serious?

     P11-01097 / 1500 North St. (Assault A) victim stated he was told to leave a local club which was having a private party. The victim later returned to the club and was assaulted by a known suspect who pushed his face into a wall twice causing injury.

     P11-01098 / 2000 South / DWI / Officer stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver Ramiro Lopez was found to be in an intoxicated state. He was arrested.

     P11-01105 / 3000 N. Pecan St. / DWLI / Vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver’s license was suspended. He was issued a summons and released. Vehicle towed for no insurance.

     P11-01107 / 1000 Ridgewood / BOH / Victim called police at 02:24 this morning to report that someone pried open the back door and removed his 32” Samsung flat screen TV and a XBOX 360 from his living room while he was sleeping.

     11-01059 / 312 W Main / forgery / comp attempted to pay for a drink with a 5 dollar, when the clerk refused to take it he came to NPD to have it checked out. The bill was found to be forged.

     11-01071 / 1300 Pruitt Hill / POMX2 / Officer responded to a suspicious vehicle and found Jarrel Broussard and Adel Mahamed smoking marijuana. Both were arrested.

     11-01064 / 3000 N Pecan / Assault M-A FV/Unlawful restraint / David Abercrombie assaulted the victim last night and then refused to let her leave the house. He was arrested.

     P11-01081 / 3100 N. University / forgery / Clerk found a counterfeit $10 bill in the cash drawer at the end of her shift.

     P11-01089 / 3000 North St. / Tampering with Evidence / officers conducted a traffic stop and which time they discovered the suspect, Cody Harrell, was trying to eat his marijuana. Harrell was arrested.
