20th anniversary – Master of Social Work program

With a mission to prepare students to become effective leaders in the social work profession, SFA’s MSW program opened in 1997 with a ceremony that took place on April 11, 1997. The initial MSW program graduated 15 students; today, there are more than 100 students in the program and courses are taught on the SFA campus and in The Woodlands.
All graduates, current students, faculty, community partners and field supervisors have been invited to this event. There will be presentations on the history of the program, an award ceremony and a reception.
