Fellow Nacogdoches County Democrats,
Happy New Year! 2011 will be a great year and an important one as we prepare for the 2012 elections and the reelection of our President. We will normally be sending out a montly email choc-full of information every second weekend of the month, but there are a couple of events we wanted to mention early. Mark your calendars!
1) The Nacogdoches County STOP (Stop the Tars and Oil Pipeline) group will hold a community meeting to educate local residents regarding the TransCanada Keystone XL pipeline, water, safety, and eminent domain issues on Thursday, January 6th, at Austin Heights Baptist Church (2806 Appleby Sands Rd.) Everyone is invited!
2) Our first meeting of 2011 will take place on Thursday, January 13th at 5:30 at the County Courthouse Annex. This will be an Executive Committee meeting with a few items of official business, but all are invited to attend as we plan our work for a very important year, one that will set the tone for the 2012 elections. Join us!
