STEAM 4 Kids: Slime, Gak, and Bouncing Balls
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites children ages 7-11 years to participate in STEAM 4 Kids: Slime, Gak, and Bouncing Balls on Thursday, February 16th at 5:30 p.m. Kids will get their hands dirty while watching chemistry at work and experiment with various non-toxic household chemicals to see what happens when we mix them together.

Un-Valentine’s Day Party & NERF™ Battle at the Public Library
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites tweens and teens ages 10 – 17 years old to an Un-Valentine’s Day Party on Friday, February 17th at 5:30 p.m. Participants will celebrate the utter lack of holiday sentiment and take over the library after the doors close for the day. There will be an indoor NERF™ Battle, a movie, games, and pizza. The event is free, but registration is requested. Please call 559-2970 to reserve a spot.

Non-Toxic Living for Everyday Wellness at the Public Library
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites the community to Non-Toxic Living for Everyday Wellness, a workshop presented by Mary Turner, on Saturday, February 18th at 2:30 p.m. Participants will learn how to take back the safety of their homes and health with money-saving, non-toxic recipes that are easy to make and use. We will make a few recipes in the class and have additional recipes to share, as well as share ideas with each other about innovative ways of reducing our environmental footprint while increasing our overall health and joy. Plus, Lego Club will be offered at the same time, so kids can play while parents learn. Please call 559-2970 to register.

Microsoft Publisher and Canva Class at the Public Library
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library will hold an introductory Microsoft Publisher and Canva computer class on Tuesday, February 22nd at 5:30 pm. Students will learn to create flyers and business cards using Publisher and the free web-based program called Canva. Participants must be experienced computer users. Fermentation Workshop at the Public Library
The Judy B. McDonald Public Library invites the community to a workshop on basic fermentation techniques on Saturday, February 25th at 2:30 p.m. Participants will have an introduction to fermented foods for health with Dr. Darla O’Dwyer of SFA and Kim Briggs of Summerland Acres. Learn about how to make things like sauerkraut, kimchi and kefir at home. Plus, a children’s movie will be offered at the same time, so kids can be entertained while parents learn. Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Party at the Public Library
It is time for the annual birthday celebration for Dr. Seuss at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library. There will be games for children, birthday cake, stories and more. The community is invited to attend on Monday, February 27th at 6:00 p.m.
