The Nacogdoches Police Department responded to 2300 block of Douglass Rd in reference to an auto pedestrian accident which occurred on Friday night.
Officers arrived and found that a male subject, identified as Anthony “Jim” Upshaw 58 years of age, had been struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. The driver and vehicle have been identified by investigators. Mr. Upshaw was transported to ETMC-Tyler with life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
The investigation is being conducted by the Nacogdoches Police Department Traffic Unit.
