INFORMATION FROM 0600 11.28.10 to 0600 11.29.2010
EVADING ARREST-RESISTING ARREST; 500 BLOCK OF RITCHIE STREET. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A DISTURBANCE AND ATTEMPTED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH ONE INVOLVED. THE SUSPECT RAN INSIDE THE RESIDENCE AND OFFICERS HAD TO RESTRAIN HIM. HE WAS ARRESTED.
THEFT; 2000 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. TWO SUSPECTS WERE OBSERVED CONCEALING CLOTHING ITEMS WITHOUT PAYING FOR THEM. BOTH SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED.
THEFT; 3400 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. A TOOL BOX CONTAINING NUMEROUS ASSORTED SNAP ON TOOLS WAS TAKEN OVERNIGHT.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 4900 BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET. ASSORTED TOOLS WERE REPORTED STOLEN FROM A VEHICLE.
ASSAULT; 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. COMPLAINANT REPORTED BEING SLAPPED BY HIS GIRLFRIEND. NO ONE WISHED TO FILE CHARGES.
THEFT; 1600 BLOCK OF COLEMAN STREET. COMPLAINANT REPORTED THAT UNKNOWN SUSPECTS STOLE A TOOL BOX, A CANVAS TOOL BAG AND A LAPTOP COMPUTER FROM A MOVING VAN OVERNIGHT.
BURGLARY OF A HABITATION; 2600 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. AN APARTMENT HAD FORCED ENTRY AND AN XBOX, GAMES TWO TELEVISIONS, A LAPTOP COMPUTER AND CLOTHING ITEMS WERE STOLEN.
THEFT; 100 BLOCK OF RUSK STREET. UNKNOWN PERSONS REMOVED A BICYCLE FROM COMPLAINANT’S FRONT PORCH. THE BIKE IS A ROYCE UNION MEN’S 10 SPEED MOUNTAIN BIKE THAT IS WHITE IN COLOR.
FAILURE TO IDENTIFY; 100 BLOCK OF SIDNEY STREET. OFFICERS CONTACTED AN INDIVIDUAL ON A TRAFFIC STOP, WHO GAVE OFFICERS A FALSE NAME. THE SUSPECT WAS FINALLY IDENTIFIED AND HE WAS ARRESTED.
DWLI; 100 BLOCK OF MUCKLEROY STREET. OFFICER CONTACTED A DRIVER ON A TRAFFIC STOP. THE DRIVER WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE AND NO INSURANCE. THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED.
