Tipton Ford Lincoln is blueberry festival presenting sponsor

“Having a Nacogdoches homegrown business sponsor the festival in this way is truly fitting,” said Grace Handler, festival chair. “The planning committee is excited to work with Tipton Owner Neal Slaten and his team. We are looking forward to implementing their ideas that will grow the family-friendly festival in new directions.”
The Texas Blueberry Festival is produced by the Nacogdoches County Chamber, and Slaten has a well-established record of volunteer service with the Chamber. He served a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors beginning in Oct. 2008, as Vice Chair of Business Development 2009 – 2010 and Vice Chair of Membership Services 2010 – 2011.
“As a former Chamber Director, I know the value the Texas Blueberry Festival brings to the greater Nacogdoches area. We were surprised and delighted when the opportunity to be the Presenting Sponsor came available,” Slaten said. “Tipton Ford Lincoln, our employees and their families are excited to work with the Chamber and all the festival volunteers.”
The 27th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford Lincoln is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 11 in historic downtown Nacogdoches. The festival is free to attend and offers live entertainment, activities, contests and delicious treats that all can enjoy.
