Operation Thank You! gets new Chamber materials to community
“Blazing new trails” is the inspiration for the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce 2016 publications – the Nacogdoches Guide & Chamber Directory and the City & County Street Map.Chamber directors and volunteers will personally deliver the new publications to as many Chamber members as possible during Operation Thank You! set for Jan. 20 through 22. “It’s our way to thank Chamber members for their membership and support,” said Chamber Chairman Rusty Rust, Commercial Bank of Texas.
The 13th annual Operation Thank You! presented by Austin Bank kicks off at 7:15 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20 with a come-and-go breakfast at the Chamber office, 2516 North St. There is no cost for attending the breakfast catered by NacBurger, but registration is requested.
“The group at Point A Media produced pieces that capture the trailblazing spirit of the late Francis “Ab” Abernethy who is largely responsible for the development of our trail system so many enjoy,” Rust said. “We can proudly display the guides and the maps our businesses as well as present to visitors and new residents.”
Event Chairwoman Grace Handler, Handler Insurance, invites all Chamber members to attend the breakfast and pick up the new material and to consider volunteering for the event. Contact the Chamber at 936-560-5533 for event details and to register for the breakfast.
