November 12 Crime Log: Car occupants arrested and found with an unlawful weapon

PUBLIC INFORMATION REPORT FOR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2010
INFORMATION FROM 0600 11.11.10 to 0600 11.12.2010

     1900 Woden Rd. / (Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon) Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver and passenger had outstanding warrants for their arrest. They were arrested, and when searched one subject was in possession of a small .22 cal pistol.

     3100 E Main (Court Order in Operators Possession & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) Vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Driver’s license was suspended except for going to work and back. He did not have a copy of that court order. A bottle was found in his pocket that had white powder residue in it. He was arrested.

     1811 North St. #19 (Theft) Victim stated a past girlfriend had come by to braid his hair. When another woman came by, she left and he later discovered his cell phone missing.

     700 S. Fredonia (DWI W/Child Passenger) Officer stopped a vehicle for driving recklessly. Driver was a 17-year-old who officer found in an intoxicated state. There was a 13-year-old passenger in the vehicle. The driver was arrested.

     4921 NW Stallings (BMV) Victim left his vehicle parked behind the store. When he returned he found a window pushed in and his CB radio and GPS missing.

     1600 Eliza (POM) Officers made a traffic stop and smelled the odor of marijuana. Driver admitted to having crack cocaine in her purse. The cocaine was located and she was arrested.

     800 W. Austin (DWI) Officers stopped a vehicle that was crossing the center stripe into the oncoming lane of traffic. The driver was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest.
