INFORMATION ON SHOOTING/4700 BLOCK OF WARR CIRCLE-RELEASE #1
The Nacogdoches Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 4700 block of Warr Circle.
The NPD received a call of a disturbance with weapons at the location at 9:52 PM. Upon police arrival, a female victim was shot by a male suspect. A Nacogdoches Police Officer then shot the male suspect. The police officer was not injured.
Both the victim and the suspect are currently being treated at a local hospital. The incident is still under investigation at this time and more information will be released as it becomes available.
