COMMISSIONERS COURT
NOTICE OF MEETING
The Nacogdoches County Commissioners Court will convene in a REGULAR MEETING on
the 12th day of November, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom, Suite 170, on the
1st floor of the South Wing of the Nacogdoches County Courthouse, 101 W. Main Street, Nacogdoches, Texas.
Call to Order
1. Public comment relating to items on the agenda.
2. Hear presentation from Global Spectrum regarding management services and possible take action regarding same.
3. Discuss and possibly take action concerning payment of invoices.
4. Discuss and possibly take action concerning blue forms.
5. Discuss and possibly take action concerning all matters incident and related to the
issuance and sale of Nacogdoches County, Texas General Obligation Refunding Bonds,
Series 2015, including the adoption of an order authorizing the issuance of such bonds,
establishing parameters for the sale and issuance of such bonds and delegating certain
matters to an authorized official of the County.
6. Discuss and possibly take action concerning lease/purchase approval of two motor
graders from First National Bank Leasing.
7. Discuss and possibly take action concerning FY 2015 payroll reimbursement agreement
No. SW-TXE-0271 with the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces
(“OCDETF”) and the Nacogdoches County Sheriffs Office.
8. Discuss and possibly take action concerning tax struck off property; Lot No. Four (4), in
Block No. Three (3) of the Re-Subdivision of the John G. Orton First Addition to the City
of Nacogdoches, Texas more particularly described in Volume 136, Page 526, of the
Deed Records of Nacogdoches County, TX. GEO (18-437-5303-004000).
9. Discuss and possibly take action concerning FY 2014 Chapter 59 Asset Forfeiture
Reports from the Nacogdoches County Constable Pet. 1.
10. Discuss and possibly take action concerning the adoption of a work release program for
the Nacogdoches County Sheriffs Office and set the average daily rate for incarceration.
11. Discuss and possibly take action concerning consideration of the County to enter into
agreements as follows:
• Nacogdoches Jaycees for an event at the Nacogdoches County Exposition Center on October 27-31, 2014;
• Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau for an event at the Nacogdoches County Civic Center on December 6, 2014; and,
• Cross-Fit Nac for an event at the Nacogdoches County Civic Center on January 17, 2015.
12. Discuss and possibly take action concerning the adoption of Red Tip Lane and Melrose
South Circle for the purpose of county maintenance.
13. Discuss and possibly take action concerning road name changes from Red Tip Lane to
County Road 4081 and Melrose South Circle to County Road 4082.
14. Discuss an possibly take action concerning a resolution in support of Hyperbaric Oxygen
Therapy for Veterans suffering Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder.
15. Discuss and possibly take action concerning a Mutual Release and Settlement Agreement
between Nacogdoches County and Associated Supply Company, Inc.
