Mr. Richard Maurice Muckelroy passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Meadowview Place at the age of 98 years, 9 months, and 13 days.
Mr. Muckelroy was born November 18, 1915, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to parents Norman Muckelroy and Ola Clevenger Muckelroy. He had been a lifelong area resident and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Muckelroy, in 2006. They were married April 12, 1946, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
