So they were right. Sticks and stones can break bones

PUBLIC INFORMATION REPORT FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2010
INFORMATION FROM 0600 10.20.10 to 0600 10.21.2010

     ASSAULT; 2500 BLOCK OF CENTER HIGHWAY. TWO INDIVIDUALS BECAME INVOLVED IN A CONFLICT THAT BECAME PHYSICAL. ONE THREW A BRICK AND THE OTHER THREW A STICK. NO CHARGES WERE FILED.

     CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; 300 BLOCK OF ELLINGTON STREET. THE DRIVER SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR ON A VEHICLE WAS KICKED IN BY UNKNOWN SUSPECTS.

     DWLI; 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. OFFICER STOPPED A VEHICLE FOR TRAFFIC. OFFICERS FOUND THAT THE DRIVER HAD A SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A PREVIOUS CONVICTION. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED.

     DEADLY CONDUCT; 1800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A MAN WAS SLEEPING IN HIS APARTMENT WHEN HE HEARD A GUNSHOT. A SHOTGUN BLAST HAD ENTERED THE WALL OF HIS APARTMENT AND WHAT APPEARED TO BE BIRD SHOT WAS SCATTERED ON THE OPPOSITE WALL AND WINDOW. IT APPEARED THE BLAST HAD COME FROM AN ADJOINING APARTMENT. OFFICERS CHECKED THE ADJACENT APARTMENT AND FOUND NO ONE THERE. CASE UNDER INVESTIGATION.

     CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; 1100 BLOCK OF SOUTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. A BACK WINDOW ON A BUILDING WAS BROKEN OUT. NO ENTRY WAS GAINED.

     THEFT; 3900 BLOCK OF APPLEBYSAND ROAD. COMPLAINANT REPORTED THAT UNKNOWN SUSPECTS REMOVED FIVE GREEN METAL CHAIRS FROM A FRONT PORCH.
