Voting is set to begin! The early voting location is the County Courthouse Annex and you can cast your ballot on October 18-22 and October 25-27 between 8 AM-5PM , or on October 28-29 between 7AM-7PM . Voting at precinct locations takes place on November 2 between 7AM-7PM (check out www.nacdemocrats.org for a list of voting locations).
We have several events going on during the next two weeks. Below is an important calendar list of items as well as our slate of candidates. Read carefully, come help our efforts, and of course, get out with your family and friends and go get your vote on! On a final note, drop by our office (901 E. Main) to make a financial donation, get some yard signs or bumper stickers, donate Halloween candy for Scare-on-the-Square, or volunteer.
10/16 — Fall Election Potluck Picnic from 3-6 at Pecan Park. Music, food, candidates (Hank Gilbert, Jeff Weems, Ken Franks, Reggie Cotton, and Lane Bradshaw), and a bounce house for the kids. Everyone is invited!
10/19 — Governor debate-watching party from 7-9 at Mr. Wills (3406 Center Hwy).
10/22 — Free event with future Governor Bill White and Texas music legend Robert Earl Keen at Banita Creek Hall beginning at 3:00!
10/23 — Last round of block-walking for Bill White beginning at 10 AM at Headquarters (901 E. Main).
10/25 — Executive Committee Meeting from 5:30-6:30 at Headquarters.
10/30 — Scare-on-the-Square on Main Street from 5-9.
11/02 — Election Day! (All Democrats are invited to Headquarters from 7:00 on to gather and keep an eye on election results).
