Shooting suspect arrested in Baton Rouge

Shooting suspect Michael Hail was arrested at approximately 8:30 P.M. today in Baton Rouge, LA. by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. Hail was located at his residence and was taken into custody without incident after he contacted a relative who convinced him to surrender to authorities. Hail was being transported to the East Baton Rouge prison where he shall be held on felony arrest warrants from Nacogdoches County until extradition arrangements can be made.

We are relieved to know that Hail has been arrested and no longer poses an imminent threat to the citizens of East Texas.
