One Response to Upcoming City Council Election Information

I would assume that careful consideration has been taken while accepting applications for City Council Candidate’s. One should be an individual who is held with the highest regards and willing to work with and for the public, absent from personal agenda’s that hold no valid merit. As a minority, I do not feel Mr. Koeng is suited for a public representative… frankly, I am appalled to see Mike Koeng listed as an potential City Council candidate. Nacogdoches Council will reduce in integrity if this is allowed. I believe this application will be used as a channel for many of his very own personal agenda’s. A city councilperson, or alderman, is an elected member of a municipal legislature. He is responsible for representing the needs of his district, , in local government, not just a voice of a few but as a voice for all in his or her district, just as a congressman represents his constituents on the federal level.
