Search warrant led to $4,000 dollars in counterfeit money

The Nacogdoches County Constable Office precinct 4 with the assistance from the department of Public Safety narcotics division has executed a search warrant that has led to the seizure of over $4,000 dollars in counterfeit money.
Bridges stated that his office has had an ongoing investigation on the suspect, Marcus Tutt for several months. During the course of the investigation the constable office has purchased several thousand dollars’ worth of counterfeit money from the suspect.
The Constable Office and DPS narcotics executed the search warrant on a residence located on scarlet Oak Street near old Lufkin road around 3:00 pm Friday afternoon. Officers found more counterfeit money on scene that was hidden inside the master bedroom of the residence. Marcus Tutt was also arrested at the scene.
Tutt who is 34 years of age from Nacogdoches, Texas is charged with the offense of Forgery which is a 3rd felony in the state of Texas. Tutt was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
