Annual homecoming activities at Bethel Chapel Baptist Church will be held May 19-20. The church is hosting a huge gospel concert at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, with the Dixie Echoes, a nationally known group, according to Dr. David Digmon, Bethel Chapel's pastor. On Sunday, May 20, the homecoming service begins at 10:00 a.m. The morning's song service will be highlighted with guests Wayne West as music director with his wife Betty accompanying on the piano. The homecoming message will be delivered by Bro. Martin Ferguson formerly of Sabine County (his parents are active with Bethel Chapel). A covered dish lunch follows the Sunday service. Dr. Digmon and the church family issue a special invitation to everyone, especially former members and are residents. Bethel Chapel is located at 854 N. Highway 96 in Pineland.
